AITA for yelling at my wife?

u/Rand0mThro0waway but I can't find the sory, my sister copied it so I'd have it so here you go:

I(47f) have a friend, Alex(49m) who adopted Grayson(22m) about 18 years ago.

We both work in the military and he raised Gray on base with me. I have no legal rights over him, he's my friends adopted kid but we both saw him as our son and he saw us both as his parents, we were co-parenting for short. I don't mind it, never did since he's always been a sweetheart.

Recently me wife(43f) gave birth to our kid(3month f) and I came back to work after a month of staying with her and baby girl.

Yesterday Alex and Gray went on a mission and I was talking with them on the station until I got told to quiet up by Gray. I did and checked up on them after a few minutes of silence just for alex to say that Gray was KIA.

Words can't explain how much I cried and he came back to base with his dead body hours later to see if they chould do something at the infirmery.

I called my wife to tell her earlier and she said that she's sorry for my loss but can't understand why I'm crying and in the heat of the moment I said that I whouldn't cry this much if it was or kid and she broke down crying.

Is bad I know but the past 18 years of my life were mostly spent with Gray and Alex. I knew his favourite things and what he didn't like, damn it I knew every scar on his body and how he got it by my 3 month old is so yound and leaks so much personality because of how young she is that to me she just feels replaceable.

I'm sorry but I meant it, AITA?
