AITD for telling my bisexual wife her identity matters less than I do now that she's with me?

Sorry, but you're just as tone-deaf as the other person is.

This sentence you said is queerphobic. This is the clarion call for all “moderate” bigots. When you use it I cannot trust you to engage in good faith.

This is simply not true and ignorant. Just because someone has a different view than you on something they are neither bigoted, nor queerphobic. While yes, I'm sure there are bigoted people out there using this as an argument, theres also just people who don't define themselves by their sexual orientation or are as open about it.

Your argument is like that one extroverted friend that tries to tell you parties are fun, while you're an introvert.

If you hate any expression of sexuality, I’m assuming you also boycott weddings, dances, all romcoms, and pretty much every movie in the past (history of cinema.)

You are clearly unable differentiate between sexual orientation and romance itself. What attracts people to romcoms is a well written romance, the sexuality of the protagonists don't really matter if the story is written well. On the same page a wedding isnt about someones sexual orientation. It's about two people making a bond for life. Also can we not start sexualizing dancing all over again? And again sexuality is usually not the main aspect of a movie unless you are talking about porn.

Most of those things were traditionally portrayed heterosexual in those forms and have been changing to be more open to everyone, but that also doesn't change what their main aspect of each is not the sexuality of the portrayed characters.

A good romcom doesnt get any worse or better by switching out the characters sexuality.
