A good first step to reinstate common-sense restrictions that are no big deal, but this isn't enough. There needs to be other restrictions, like gathering bans to prevent the spread of COVID through in-person social gatherings with family and friends.

Non-essential gatherings (ie hanging out with family and friends, not going to the office and being with co-workers) are what is driving COVID spread now along with no mask rules. Curbing those two activities are the best way to stop the spread.

But because of such a low bar in this pro-plague country and society we have, even a miniscule restriction like this works. I just wish they'd do more.
