Allowing a cashier to sit in a chair is perfectly okay

Not trying to be an ass I read first 2 sentences 8 hour shift let say you take 15-30 minute break around 4 hour mark that would be 4 hours on your feet then a break, then another 4 hours on feet. Which again isn’t that bad :/. Now if your smart you will take atleast 1 bathroom break during your shift but not during your break. Yes it won’t be 15-30 minute bathroom break but that’s another 5 minutes off your feet.

So technically your not on your feet for 8 hours... It sounds way better to say poor me I am on my feet for 8 hours a day instead of acknowledging that technically your not for 8 hours straight. I appreciate the respectful response but yeah. I don’t want to tear you down. But outside the USA mandated breaks are privileged words. Loads of countries where you have you eat when their is a slow period and your eating on your feet and or at the assembly line, or your eating something quick while your in a bathroom break.

I understand the complaint it’s not easy and feet hurt etc. But it can be so much worse my first job I ever had was washing dishes. First time in my life I learned first hand about the different degrees for burns and still have a small burn on my arm due to tiny Spoon landing on my arm while I was pulling out dishes from dish washer and how easily and violently painful it is. Lessons learned.
