A mixture of the following:

• Wife was depressed, showing me less and less attention, and I later found out she was texting an ex
• I was depressed, and abusing medication, so my head was all over the place
• I was incredibly lonely
• A woman directly offered me sex with no strings (She was a bit of an addict to sleeping around), I didn’t contact her, I didn’t ask to hook up, she offered
• I’m a highly insecure needy person, so I wanted the attention

It went very badly. I spent hours talking to this poor woman who only wanted a quick.

It actually made me want my wife even more. Sex with someone you love who you are comfortable with can be so much better. And my wife is pretty good when she’s in the mood.

We stayed together btw
