Amazon backs marijuana legalization, drops weed testing for some jobs

I have a lot head friend. I've known him most of my life.

He only seems to find his way into jobs that don't mind his weed use.

He's mid 40s. He's a solid worker. Always ready to work OT, averages 10 hours a week. He's about as efficient as everyone else.

The kicker? The only time he ever receives a raise is when the state minimum goes up, or he realizes the new hire (that is working for him) was hired on at the same wage or higher. Even then they drag it out through HR for another pay period or two.

He has absolutely traded his freedom to smoke weed for any hope financial freedom .

He doesn't see it. Wouldn't be so sad if he wasn't a father of four.
