Americans with 2 weeks holiday a year, how in Gods name do you do it?

I never mentioned anything about maternity leave? But yea, there's no comparison in the US to the EUs maternity leave. The only way you're getting 12 months off is if you quit. Most guys get yime off to go to the hospital and maybe a a few days for the hospital and what not but thats it.

"Wow hang-on. You are so US centric you are deluded. You do know that countries in the EU are stationed and active throughout the world don’t you?"

Yes...... I mentioned EU member countries (UK isn't in the EU) in my comment, sounds like you're from the UK though. This comment thread is about the EU formally starting a war. Which as of right now they cant(unless something changes or has already changed legally) Since OC mentioned starting a war with the US I was basically pointing out NATO. The US has a pretty good missile defense system in the EU. All the being said I also pointed out it would benefit EU member countries to spend more on their defense, which they are actively doing. I think by 2024 most member countries agreed to increase spending to a certain percentage although I'm not sure what that percentage exactly is. It wasn't a dig or US delusion. Just stating whats going on.

Are these the "thousands year upon year" dying to enter the UK? I realize not every death can be found out about, but thats a big difference

There are also a lot of immigrants who die trying to enter the US every year. Combined there are almost as many immigrants living in the US as there are people in the UKs entire population.. (illegal - estimated to be around 12 million. and legal - 45 million)

Sorry for the long link. I'm on mobile
