1. Pack a bag of clothes and your money and drive toward the center of town. Leave all elecronics, credit cards, etc. behind. Flag down the first person you can see who is driving an old-ish car that doesn't have any tracking equipment (like lo-jack) and offer him/her $50,000 and your own car on the spot for the car.
2. Take the car and drive out into the countryside. Drive around in lots of whacky directions in very sparsely populated areas to see if anyone appears to be following you. If not, skip step 3 and go to step 4.
3. If you are possibly being followed, drive into a very densely populated area. Try to get to a subway system at rush hour, or a football game, something like that. The more shoulder to shoulder the crowd is, the better. Go into the crowd and move about in different directions. Slip into a bathroom and change your clothes, and leave the event through a different area. Flag down another person with a beat up car and pay him/her $50,000 to take it. Repeat step 2 until you don't see anyone following you, and if they are, repeat step 3, but do a better job this time!
4. Once no one is following you, drive to a bus station in the next state. Buy five bus tickets to five major cities in opposite directions and pick one at random. Take the bus.
5. Once in the new city, pay cash for a plane ticket to central Europe that leaves that very day. Take the flight to Europe.
6. On landing, buy a train ticket to six different major cities, three of which are in eastern European countries where corruption is common. Select one of those cities and go.
7. Once you arrive, buy a car from someone on the street for $50,000 and drive to another major city in that country. Find an apartment building and offer to pay 5x the rent as long as the landlord doesn't ask questions.
8. Find someone on the street who can get you a good fake ID and purchase one.
9. Move to a new city every two months, repeating step 7.
10. If you can manage it, try to arrange a system where in the last few months, you purchase a very remote but comfortable house in the countryside and arrange to have all your groceries delivered to your door. In fact, purchase a handful of these houses and rig them all with security cameras and other equipment, and have groceries delivered to all of them. If you see a suspicious individual poking around one of the spare houses, run for it! If a suspicious individual is poking around your actual house, you might be screwed at that point.
