I want to be an effective ally for women when it comes to climate advocacy, and I would love some advice on things to avoid, common mistakes, etc.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! This is exactly the kind of perspective on this I feel like I've been missing. You've identified so many more barriers to this whole thing than I was aware of.

I really do empathize with how exhausting it is trying to cut down to the core message. Having worked with a few different men's groups, I've often felt like there's so many "outer layers" of distrust that I first have to work through to even be able to have a real conversation.

So far my studies have been really good at mixing disciplines, but I feel like there's still so much more I need to learn. Like religion, for example. Dumb as it is, I'd honestly never thought about all this through the whole "pro-life" lens. Pretty massive blindspot, I know. But that's why I posted, so thanks for the help.
