Think you know anatomy?

It can vary by school, but three of four universities & colleges that I’ve taught at required a full year of A&P for health track bio majors. Alternatively one school only had a requirement for a certain number of 200-level bio credits, but the students tended to run out of other course options (particularly if they were taking o-chem and physics, which were scheduled to slot around A&P and microbio, such that few other bio courses would fit into their schedules). So though the professional schools may not require it, the undergraduate institution often either explicitly requires it or channels students there via credit or schedule issues.

Anyway, in my experience about 99% of the health track students end up taking it. semester, so tbh part of its value is just to get a head start on medical vocabulary)
