I've met about 100 girls online the past 15-20 years and had sex with about a third of them at least on the first or second dates (some were just hookups and not even dates)......

Never took longer than 3 dates except for the last girl I met off bumble....and now we've been together 5-6 years.

Sometimes waiting means you're holding out for something better/more solid foundation for something long term.

It's stupid but the mentality is "if you make me 'work harder' than other randos then my 'worth' is less.....when in fact it's the opposite of that.

If she let me smash first date I probably wouldn't think of her the same or I would have treated her differently. (Not to say I've had treated her worse or badly....just that I wouldn't have been in the right mindset to let something develop)

I will say however that if she insisted on waiting for 5-6+ dates I probably would have stopped seeing her tho. Lol.

It's a fine line.
