Ant Man was way funnier than i expected it to be

That's probably the reason I found it bad. I guess you could say I'm a Marvel fanboy, I love all the Marvel movies, go see every one in theatres, and have enjoyed every one immensely (with the exception of Ant-man). If had to make a list of all my favourite movies it would be pretty much the entire MCU. So I went into the theatres with really high expectations expecting another amazing AAA blockbuster, and what I got felt like a B movie. It may not be a terrible movie by itself, I just think it's terrible compared to the last Marvel movies. Honestly the worst part of the movie was the lack of continuity in whether or not the suit changes his weight. Since it's a comic book movie, they could have literally explained nothing, they could have just called it magic and nobody would care. Instead they actually try and give a "scientific" explanation by saying that the suit changes the distance between atoms, and therefor the weight stays the same, which is why he can still punch people when he's small. However, this changes constantly throughout the movie. When he first puts on the suit, the water pushes him out of the tub as if he weights nothing, and yet he cracks the tiles when he lands. Right after that he goes flying through the air and lands directly on a spinning record, and it doesn't even skip (Have you ever listened to vinyl? A sneeze from the next room makes that shit skip!). If he stays the same weight, he shouldn't be able to ride an ant, and if he blew himself up to giant-size then a wind would knock him over. You couldn't carry a tank on a keychain, and a toy train couldn't crush a cop car. The entire movie is basically one large plot hole that they created themselves with a terrible explanation, when they could have solved any plot holes with a 10 second explanation. Obviously the director just didn't care. And don't even get me started on that "subatomic" B.S., that was definitely B-grade movie material, the kind of thing I'd expect from one of the DC soap operas on the CW, but I was expecting better from Marvel. /rant
