Yeah. Mine’s only a few days fresh, but our breakup wasn’t “bad.” She was devastated to be losing her best friend and told me that she still loved me, but she felt she needed to be single to find herself. I don’t understand it, and sometimes anger that she didn’t want to put in the work gets mixed in with the sadness. But I still love her. It’s been rough.

I haven’t spoken with her since the night she left mainly because I don’t think it would be healthy for me. If she reached out I might respond, but that depends on what she says. I just feel like I need to resist every temptation to talk to her because it will only prolong my own healing.
