Anyone else hate playing games without achievements?

Unlike everyone else in the comments it seems, I agree. I like having achievements because if it's a game I really like I want to get them all.

They've made me play games much more and in many different ways I wouldn't have thought of, and try out all sorts of things that I didn't even think was possible.

People seem to think all achievements are really grindy but well made achievements are more like guides to find out easter eggs and everything there is in the game, they're not nearly always grindy.

For example I really liked doing 100% on Death's Door, it was all very intuitive how you got them, but there was one achievement to play the game with only using the umbrella as a weapon, it made me play it again in a different way and it was just a really fun challenge. Resident Evil games also have some of my favorite achievements, in some those games they also double as in-game challenges that give rewards.
