we elected aoc to empower us, but it feels like she is saying the responsibility is all on us to elect more progressives. this will take forever, especially when progressives aren't meaningfully using their power (that we gave them).

eoin is right, progressives need to start leveraging in some way to either force these dinosaur dems to vote on record against popular policy or get these dems to move left. for god's sake, we have watched pelosi shift right on healthcare over the last 20 years. she used to advocate for single-payer, but now she only want to improve the aca. yuck.
