Only the people who voted for him are servile to him. The majority of people I know who voted for him are poor and/or military. I know these are not the only demographic that voted for him, but they are the most vocal. The poor I know voted for him because they knew he would disrupt the system and they don't feel like they have anything to lose. The problem with this is the poor in america are accustomed to shelter, clothing, food, running water, electricity, internet service, etc., so they are very comfortable compared to other countries. As long as that continues, I predict he will remain popular. Military is usually trained to follow orders without question. I don't think that needs further explanation.
