Are there Christians out there that are gay and believe it’s a sinful lifestyle?

I was just like you once. I committed myself to celibacy and was a Side B Christian. It wasn't easy, and if that's the path you choose, I honesty wish you the best.

I would like to add, as a gay man, my identity isn't 100% just gay. I feel like there's this misconception that the prime identity of gay folks is the fact that they're being gay. For a few people, that might be the case. But for myself and many others, there's a lot of other things that identify me. Being gay is one very integral piece of the tapestry that makes me up, but it's not the whole summation of who I am. It's not like how Christians feel their identity in Christ should be.

As a Side B gay Christian, there were times I felt like I was so reduced to my gayness that I felt like a walking issue. Don't let anyone treat you like that.
