Aztecross on Destiny 2 Future. He covers everything we fear and I don't think It could have been said any better.

Oh no I can see why I’m being called obtuse. The thing is though, is essentially what you’re saying is the same thing everyone else that’s replied to my comment is trying to say....because I was able to get $80 worth of content at virtually no cost by way of a deal/loophole that most of the player base doesn’t have access to I’m not allowed to refer to it as F2P. That’s where I have to disagree, and I get an attitude and a “leg to stand on”. Just because it wasn’t free to play for y’all, or the percentage of the player base you’re quoting as not having access to said deal, doesn’t mean it wasn’t essentially F2P for me or anyone else using the game pass ultimate route. If it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, chances are it’s probably a duck....even if it’s a single duck surrounded by a pod of whales. Catch my drift? Basically, y’all seem to want me to not refer to D2 as free to play because a large portion of the player base doesn’t have access to that means of getting the title and all DLC even though it’s pretty much free to play when having access to that means of getting the title and all dlc. I’ll take my downvotes and walk with them but my point still stands that I’m able to access and play $80 or so worth of content for around $0.20 a month when you factor in the other titles I also play through game pass. So I mean I guess that argument is relevant if you really want to go there and say that because the cost equates to around $0.20 a month for me to play destiny 2 it’s not free to play....
