Pointing out the problems in something when the discussion of it's continued existence doesn't mean you advocate for it to go away completely.

There are problems. The current education system perpetuates them. Not funding a broken system is generally speaking a good idea.

"Wahhh someone said my wife's working in a worthless industry!" well spoiler alert, your wife works in a worthless industry. And if she cares about it, she'd agree that the current high school system going away wouldn't be a bad thing so long as it's place is taken up by something actually trying to help kids learn, develop and live in the real world. None of which the current one does.

"Never mind the cops are shooting people and committing terrorist acts, if we don't fund them then only the rich will be able to pay for their safety and everyone else will go back to living in fear!" Same logic. Same answer. Too bad, the system we have now doesn't deserve the funding it gets, if it wont fix itself them it's not my job to perpetuate it's worthless, destructive influence.
