Biden confirms Trump dossier on Russia was included in briefings

You won't get any argument from me, these people you mentioned have it way worse than just being alone and financially supported by their parents or the state (or both). But that's what makes them so unlikable and by the same token, even more abandoned and disconnected from the rest of the world. You also have people argue that struggling with your sexual identity is a "first world problem" not worth time and attention because a lot of people have it way worse, and besides, it's such a small subset of the population so why bother? You know it doesn't work either way, it just creates a divide.

You go where you're welcome, and for these people, that doesn't give you a lot of options. It really doesn't surprise me that every community centered around being pathologically lonely has a warped sense of reality like in r/incels or /r9k/, and I think it starts because admitting you live with your parents/you're a virgin/you have no friends carries stigma that excludes you from a lot of social circles. You create your own, and it's sad and angry and bitter. To some extent if affects gaming communities too.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if these people had someone, anyone come along and tell them that their life has value, that they're allowed to feel sad, that their problems are legitimate, that it doesn't mean they have to be so ashamed of themselves that they feel they have to hide, well... these places wouldn't have a reason to exist in the first place. I got "reconnected" to society, very slowly, through love and acceptance. Because a woman and her entire family legitimately wanted me to feel better, to feel welcome somewhere. It outvalued 10+ years of meds and therapy in less than a year.
