The text evidence is to support the fact that we were indeed in a relationship when he began talking to this girl. He is trying to confuse me & claim we were no longer dating but then he will contradict himself. Her multiple arrests were for drug dealing (schedule 2 & cannabis). She told him she took the fall for her boyfriend… more than once?! increasingly larger quantities with each arrest. He also told me they have more of a connection than he feels with me, his former “best friend” of five years. I have never been arrested before but he has, recently for DWI & several years ago for a small amount of marijuana. I spoke to him on the phone, he insisted he still loved me and wanted to remain friends & network (we met at work). Him saying this makes me think he maybe wanted to make me jealous but it backfired. I told him I no longer trusted him & said he didn’t blame me. We are no longer in contact & I’m grateful. I’ve attempted to leave this relationship in the past as I’ve witnessed him have rage attacks even yelling at a waitress at a nice restaurant. He kept finding ways back into my life & I take accountability for allowing him to. He had made it difficult to move on. Hoping to find peace now with therapy & not date for a while.
