I’ve struggled with this as well, usually I’ll google “how bad is the fan service in -anime i think looks good-” to get an overall idea.

I recommend The Promised Neverland, it’s the best cat & mouse anime i’ve seen since Death Note but the women aren’t sexualized and it’s about children, who look and act like children. I haven’t read the manga so idk if it’s going to be as respectful later but the first several episodes are out and it is amazing so far.

Also I saw Claymore recommended and I have to second that, it’s got a couple scenes of nudity but they don’t feel played out in a way that satisfies the male gaze. The women are strong and the monsters are fuckin dope.
