Can I get one more Chinese crowd silence meme?

You're right. People having issues with a crowd is incredibly wrong.

TI8 had attendees from 64 countries with probably a pretty reasonable distribution, obviously NA biased since it's in NA.

China literally presells all its tickets internally to China. It is an extremely homogenous culture with a lot of national pride. Even in the opening ceremony, it was stated that the Chinese view China as "Dota's home". Icefrog learned Chinese because it is so popular in China.

There's no argument here. It's historically true at Chinese majors, it's obviously true just from the statistics. It's obviously true the vast majority of the crowd is Chinese, the vast majority of them want China to win, and obviously human nature is to cheer for who you root for.

Idgaf that they do. It more stems from the complete denial of a foreign supply of TI9 tickets.

You truly think the crowd distribution is not different this year? That's just denial.
