Can we test if momentum exists?

Maybe I've got harder opponents in FUT but how do you explain that the stats for me were the same as in non-FUT seasons. All matches I dominated, I've got possession, shots and shots on target way more than my opponent, but his goalie was invincible at times while mine was swiss cheese conceding goals like it was nothing

You're right we don't have scientific evidence for this to be true, but we don't have scientific evidence that shows it isn't. Given all the facts that happen: * many people are complaining (btw, I'm not 14 YO) * the recent code that proves that something is in there, *and the general feeling ,i'm more leaned to believe that momentum is real.

This is my last example that i can give, 2 weekends ago from the WL: * Friday record 10-1 (most of my opponents rage-quitted matches where I had 3-0 at the 30 minute mark). * Saturday 1-3 (barely won the first match, the team seemed slow, my opponents were going towards my players before I even passed the ball to that player) * Sunday 5-4, won 5 in a row with +2 goals difference, the other 4 i was destroyed, saturday all over again.

Again, I'm not saying we don't need scientific evidence but comparing the gameplay from non-fut regular seasons and FUT there's a clear sign that something is happening in the background of FUT that changes the experience.
