Can I write a subordinate paperwork for driving a car that's unsafe to drive?

You think I just said "yep I'm leaving this sinking ship" the first sign of trouble? wtf do you think the Shirt says when you walk into his office for a first time star card delinquency and he asks you "What is the state of his financial affairs?" and you answer the polite version of I didn't think it was any of by business? He makes it your business and tells you to sit down with him and make a budget, don't rely on off the top of his head guestimates on what his bills are have him bring them in and come up with a plan together is what he fucking says as an exercise to make you familiar with his finances and to lead away from making poor financial decisions. Do I ride his ass every time he buys a $2.50 monster at the snack bar? No...but it becomes my problem again when he fails to pay his star card which resulted in an LoR. You think I high five the shirt when he's reading it to him and directs him to go to AFRC? No...you think I'm gonna secretly snicker inside next time when the commander takes a stripe? You think I didn't have his best interest at heart when the shirt directed me to sit down with him for 3 hours to come up with a budget and we came up with ways to make truly meaningful cuts like splitting the internet with his neighbor and slashing a $120/month bill to $30/month? I did have his best interest in mind; just like I had his best interest in mind when I asked the shirt if we could somehow expedite the process of moving him on base. You think when I sat down with him for 3 hours I was gleeing joyfully thinking "Oh man let's see where you're fucking up!" No, I could have came up with a half-assed excel spread sheet in 30 minutes and sent it to the shirt but we worked on it together for half a day.

So do you think the second time he's late on his Star card the shirt is going to just let me as his supervisor to give it my best shot again? No, I truly gave it my best shot, every time he did buy a $2.50 monster I'd politely remind him watch your spending. The second time he was sent to AFRC for a 2 day long financial literacy class with his wife. So yeah I do think I deserve the right to be highly disappointed in him when he goes out and buys a $750 dog.

As I said, earlier...I would be derelict in my duties as an NCO if I let all his other shortcomings slide. I'm not being an ass to him for the sake of being an ass.

You are absolutely right; it was a huge lapse in my judgement to air this out on reddit and that's why I closed it.
