Canada rejects 70.7% of Nigerian asylum seekers who crossed borders

2300 people a year your taxes are going towards supporting.

You should look at other lines in the budget, you will be astonished by how little we spend on this in comparison.

Irrelevant, more money being spent elsewhere does not make this money being spent not a waste.

2300 people a year who have never (and likely will never) contributed any taxes to our society. 2300 people who just expect free shit and an easy ride because they illegally crossed a border.

That's not even remotely true. Immigrants and refugees regularly become regular and productive members of society. You're promoting a destructive and frankly ignorant stereotype.

Most refugees and asylum seekers have received still have not found gainful employment. Taking into account their age, and how much money the government spent on them already, they'll never repay their tax burden, unless they get very high paying jobs.

I'm not talking about immigrants at all, stop putting words in my mouth.

Then why are you supporting so much illegal immigration?

Seeking asylum isn't even remotely illegal.

Not when it's done by illegally crossing a border from a country you're safe in.
