That’s the weird thing to me too. I’ve personally never seen catcalling occur in any of the places I’ve lived.
I’ve always understood that it was a function of the fact that it generally doesn’t happen with other people around and that I may be living in areas with a lower likelihood of it happening.
Is it more brazen in cities like NYC? I’ve only spent a couple of months working in Manhattan so I don’t have a great sample.
The part that makes me suspicious is that somehow she’s in-frame the entire time and the shakiness is pretty low, which seems like it would be difficult to achieve while keeping the camera hidden. I could be wrong, and maybe technology has progressed to the point this is feasible, but it makes me wonder if this is staged.
