Chauvin guilty on all charges. What are your thoughts?

Do not tell me that America, who has a $934 billion defends budget, can not afford body cams for police officers. Just buy one or two less tanks.

You wouldn’t need to comb through it all. You’d just need to comb through certain bits of it in relation to complaints/issues raised.

From my understanding Internal affairs investigate and made recommendations to the Chief, who then decides how to proceed. And about 85% of America’s police forces are “small” so technically only 15% of police departments have the means to refer to ‘internal affairs’

That means 85% of police departments police themselves. Which is just crazy.

There’s no excuse for this. And that’s what they are - excuses. “It’s to expensive” “we don’t have the infrastructure” “it’s to time consuming”

American governments do not worry about these things when it comes to “morally policing” (waging war on) other countries.

  • I want to be clear, I’m not trying to bash on Americans, just the inept politicians that continue to leave this issue and hope it disappears. Citizens are burning the streets down _ over and over again_ and politicians are up there talking about peace and doing absolutely nothing to address the real issues
