is really just a desire
So is pedophilia. That's my point.
We all, every day, over come our base urges and instincts, without a second thought.
But as soon as those THOUGHTS enter the realm of pedophilia, that person is instantly and forever a child molester and monster in the eyes of society? Just for thinking about something? That's thought crime. Something I consider absolutely disgusting.
People seem to think pedophiles are these nervous wreck types in a trenchcoat with binoculars in the bushes by the playground. Wrong. You probably know a few. I do. But I'm not a judgemental fuck so I don't instantly condemn those people. It's much more prevalent than you may think. How many married men you think have a passing thought about sucking a dick, but never actually do it? More than you'd like to think, or admit if you're a homophobic bro dude (not you you, hypothetical you)
it's theoretically possible to do a bank robbery without hurting someone
So, you're okay with someone robbing a bank, if they don't hurt anyone. But you are against a person having sexual thoughts and desires, without them actually having done anything? What about guys who fantasize about rape? But would never actually do it?
