Childless couples 'on track to be Australia's most common family type'

When wealth is being hoarded by investors and companies instead of being distributed the way it's supposed to 'trickle down', there's less money to afford a second or third child. Many couples are already making the decision to have smaller families for purely financial reasons.

Anyone with kids knows that they cost money. A lot of money. Less kids means less money feeding into our economy to help grow a taxpayer. Right now the money is primarily going to the top and staying there, yet our government thinks it is a good idea to lower our company tax rate and make the working class pay more. I see no logic in increasing the wealth of those who historically do whatever they can to avoid tax and take their money outside of the country.

There's going to come a time when there's no more money to squeeze out of the working class. Should higher education become unaffordable for the average Australian we could quite possibly find ourselves in 30 years time with a lower population that is less educated and unable to pay the taxes needed to keep our country afloat.
