Clinton voter fraud in Polk County, Iowa Caucus

I'll say it again then. The harm is that there was no actual count performed. You can talk about what the Sanders chair did all night long, that doesn't change the fact that any Sanders supporter in that room didn't get to have their vote fully counted. That caucus turned in estimated numbers, not real numbers. If you don't think that's important and improper then please say it so we can agree to disagree and move on.

I think that when officials are caught lying on camera during the election process, that's relevant. It's not "OMG election fraud", but even mere gross incompetence is actually still damaging to the system. The precinct chair, a Hillary supporter, watched the Hillary captain lie to the Sanders chair. Then he informed protestors that the only way they'd get heard was if the room voted on it - after he tells them that the recount won't matter anyways. Both of those actions were caught on camera.

There's not going to be any punishment for anyone involved, but I think people should be aware of the fact that the caucus results in this (and other areas) were fudged. When a Sanders supporter can say "222 and there's a guy at the table over there who is 223" and the Clinton captain can try to count 30 people moving around in a room of 450+ people while others are going to the bathroom and changing sides....yeah that whole process got fucked. The chair's job was to insure a good count. He abdicated that responsibility, and I think it's worth nothing that the moment his side took the lead, everything after that point he did was to shut the process down as fast as possible.

That's shady as fuck, and Iowa needs to get called out for having a system that allows it. When the Sanders captain gets lied to and abdicates their role out of laziness, ignorance, or confusion that's just as bad, I'll 100% grant that. I'm not saying this was a conspiracy though. I'm saying that it was a joke. A big goddamn joke.
