And today in the US a woman can leave her house as she pleases, a Black man can go to any school he wants, gays can get married and adopt kids, women can sue their husbands if they are raped, we have free and open elections every year, the vast majority of states have banned execution, most drugs are decriminalised in most major cities, and journalists can publish what they want where they want about whatever they want. The US is not the US of the past either.

None of those things are even within decades of happening in Saudi Arabia. So how exactly are the US and Saudi Arabia the same amount of bad when most Americans enjoy freedoms that the Saudi regime explicitly bans?
