I understand the right thing would be to come forward but who do I call? Do I walk into the police station? Ive never heard of this happening and don't know what next steps are. I did not know this happened until I was gone and looking through the paperwork. Since the cop did not ask me any questions and had me stand to the side while he did paperwork is he somewhat at fault too? I am only scared to come forward because I don't want it to seem that I told the undercover cop I was the person on the ID, which I did not he took it upon himself to assume. Does undercover ale have body cams? If they were to see/hear the footage they would know I did not try to pretend to be anyone else.
