This is a completely false comment. First wtf do you mean by internet wire. You mean coaxial cable or cat5e, 6, fiber? If we stick to metallic cables aluminum is shit for attenuation and the DCR which affects almost all characteristics of electrical signal performance. Almost all internet metallic cable is copper TIA and IEC don’t even allow for these cables. The only reason to EVER use aluminum cables is weight sensitive applications or cost. No the difference in signal degradation of aluminum is insane vs copper. I think you read about skin effect so that’s why you may think that’s an alternative but it’s not the same. I’m an electrical engineer and I sincerely hope you read more about this before you burn someone’s house down if you’re an electrician trying to save on material costs.
