Curious about your ‘why’?

i have a lot of feelings on this but they boil down to:

1) my weight is steadiest on low carb diets

2) my mood is steadiest on low carb diets

3) my energy is steadiest on low carb diets

it boils down to predictability for me - even if i make an off-plan choice i know how and when i will get back to feeling sharp. similarly, going off the plan makes me feel sluggish or irritable to a predictable degree.

i DO believe sugar and carbohydrates and probably seed oils are bad for human health, but i am willing to do a few other things that are also bad for human health.. so i pick what works, and for me, that's quitting cake and the rest. the biggest holidays get a pass, because i know what to get back to.
