Where to Start? Need Help Please

I was going to mention hypothyroidism. If the estradiol hasn't helped balance your thyroid I would think your doctor could prescribe you medicine for it. The thyroid regulates weight.

Even when you get your thyroid in line you may not lose the 50 pounds if you're in a healthy weight range. ymmv. Do you want to lose the 50 pounds for looks or were you already over weight and 50 pounds more is just too much? I ask because having a few extra pounds isn't in and of itself a health concern. Working on the thyroid is imo far more important.

As far as going on keto is concerned, the reason it is so popular is because how lenient it is. There is a low carb version for just about every meal on the planet, so you can eat whatever you want by substituting a few ingredients here and there. You can definitely do it.

Also, low carb increases autophagy, which induces healing and longevity. As one gets older autophagy goes down, so it becomes a bigger deal. This is a nice bonus worth exploring if you're looking for health benefits.
