I am in a bad spot right now and I could use some advice.

My HD7850 fan is making scratching noises and the temps are a bit high. 47°C in idle, over 70°C under load, still holding under 75°C, but I think it is thermal throttling. I sent a ticket to /u/sapphiretechnology's support, but they said they can't help me, because they don't have any spare/replacement parts for that GPU any more (http://i.imgur.com/XFaNU77.png Sorry, German). Which is weird, considering I bought this only 3 years ago. But yeah, I am out of warranty (2 years in Germany), so I can't blame them and I don't.

I cannot afford to buy a RX480 now, the earliest would be next year. I could buy a RX460 for 120€ though next week. But seems to be wasted money, considering I want a RX480 Nitro in the end. However, the 530 integrated from my CPU is even worse than the 460.

What would you guys do? I kind of like the idea of a 460 as interrim card (can sell it), but I hate spending the 120€.

On the other hand, I don't want to wait until the 7850 dies of a heat stroke and drags something with it when it goes out or damages the slot, whatever.
