I (M, 6'1, 210, 39) started cutting for the first time for real in 6 months (looking to drop to ~195), and the nSuns 5 day leg volume is just not going to happen for me during the cut I think - I wasn't near completing the volume today and was getting faint multiple times. It's possible I'm having a bad day due to not being in steady state yet, but I would like a plan.
What would you guys think of this as a minimal amount of leg work for 6-8 weeks (maybe 10 if we include Christmas food)?
2x5, 1x5+ squat variation 2x a week at roughly my 8-max
2x5, 1x5+ deadlift variation 2x a week at roughly my 8-max
3x12-15 leg press 2x a week at a relatively low intensity
4x10-15 weighted hyper-extensions 2x a week at a relatively low intensity
Front squat/back squat and deadlift/romanian deadlift as the variations.
Progression plan is just to maintain where I'm at for the roughly 2 months, going up in weights if for some reason the AMRAP sets reach into 10+ range.
The upper body volume hasn't had this effect on me at all so I'll try to maintain that volume.
