Dear BJJ Gym owners: just list your price, man.

Honestly at some point I think it's more important to train at a good gym/club, than if it's Judo or BJJ, at least in the beginning.

I just train Judo right now, the club is friendly, the training is structured and right now it's very much focused on technique training. As a beginner I couldn't ask for more. Not to mention that the price is very fair ~$20 - 30 a month for three classes a week.

It's a non-profit, so if the head coach doesn't feel like it anymore, the club would die instantly, so that's the downside vs. a fully commercial club.

Would I personally prefer more newaza and allowing leg grabs etc? Sure, but right now I'm learning a lot. Different sides of the same coin.
