(Discussion) So how does everyone feel coming out of E3

As a huge survival horror fan, still sad this wasn't the E3 that we got a taste of "Silent Hills" I'm hopeful for "Vampyr" & "Call of Cthulu" as well as the multiplayer Friday the 13th slasher thing (despite their group being absolute clowns.. In a bad way) I can't help but shake the feeling I'm not going to get truly scared or psychologically warped from any of these titles. I'll settle gladly for good fun I suppose. Frank West for Christmas sounds like good fun.

As a gamer in general a little underwhelmed? I have to say every team had a couple releases that made me go "yeah, okay cool, good we'll see what happens" ex: Titanfall, Dishonored, I'll even say Watchdogs as "the little engine that could"

As well as some negativity. Ex: two Card games?.. Seriously, am I just way out of the loop? Are people foaming at the mouth for next gen card games?... App updates? I can accept tes online expansions DLC whatever, I'm also aware that fallout shelter is one of the best free to play apps of all time, but is it E3 worthy? Eh, I guess to show the investors what you've got up your sleeve? Again this stuff isn't terrible just kind of underwhelming.

Quake... Okay... I'm an older gamer, I loved quake and UT back in the day, and a reneasance rivalry of the tournament style shooters is a charming prospect at the same time the character based "Overwatch" style thing just ain't my jazz.

I feel how I feel progressively every year during E3: a bunch of games without gameplay footage tells us nothing about the games. One step further from caring about E3. Geez, these titans of industry are embarrasingly nervous on stage.

TL;DR: Dead middle of the road ambivalence tword the video game industry as a whole.
