[Discussion] What do you think of teenage pregnancy?

I know a number of guys and girls that became fathers or mothers in high school, or right after high school.

And one of them is a friend (who became distant to us) and his girlfriend (who currently the rest of us treat her as a former friend). They just recently became a father and mother to a baby girl just recently. <story below>

We, as friends, were initially supportive of their relationship, especially that the girl actually did the effort and asked the guy out, but this girl, Lana (not her real name) soon ignores us and talks shit on us after a month into the relationship for no reason. (And just two weeks after my 17th birthday) So it was time to sever our friendship with her, and deteriorating our friendship with Andrew (a friend of ours/her boyfriend) because I can say she is very possessive of him that Andrew even starts to ignore us. Lana is the one in fact going to Andrew's house all the time, and to his room. And it ends up that she's pregnant after a year, which is unexpected. I might sound as an asshole, but we actually made fun of how she got pregnant because of her possessiveness towards him. On Andrew's side though, we were disappointed at him, especially that his father has expressed how horrible it is to have his ONLY SON become a father at an early age. (same age as mine)

I find teenage pregnancies a really bad and irresponsible decision (especially on the story of them that I said above). You're not as financially secure when you are a teenager. It's awful that most teens stop schooling because they become teenage fathers or mothers.
