No it doesn't, well not necessarily. This ignores the impact that diversity has on a workforce. You get an all white workforce, you get opinions that mostly reflect white people. I guess it depends on the department but diversity can help foster more opinions that better reach out to the more diverse population. Do you think an all-white group can do as well as an all-black group to sell some product or service into the black community? Well why would you think an all-white group would be better than a diverse group to sell a product or service into a more diverse population?

Furthermore, diversity also helps hire more talented minorities and women. Some minorities and women that are equally or more talented than the current coworkers may pick a more diverse company over a company without diversity. Many women would rather work for a business that is 30% women than one that is 5% women. Same for racial/ethnic minorities.

You're opinion is just like your last line....trash. Maybe spend a little time thinking about the importance of diversity rather than just being disgusted at corporations pushing for diversity.
