No I absolutely do not regret trying to be better or trying harder. I did my best and tried my hardest and in my case she was the one who never tried, never compromised, she would blow through our money like it was water. I couldn’t talk to her about problems, she refused to listen and would outright start to cry and or would walk away or just stonewall me when I tried to talk to her about her family, her family was a huge problem for me. She would never give me my space when I asked for it, she’d smother me. I couldn’t even go out with friends or be at work without getting texts needing validation constantly.

Both sexes do this stuff, both sexes can be the ones who tried their hardest.
