It's different for ISIS though. Think of it this way: From the very beginning, ISIS has used their religion as an excuse to kill, conquer, and take power. Now they are wanting to be recognized as an authority, and they are so selfish and stubborn people, anytime they are not getting their way, they call for action.
So when journalists create anti-ISIS cartoons, or when anyone refers to them as Daesh, they get pissed, and to show strength, they kill.
