Donald Trump is facing a pre-emptive backlash over his reported plans for a ban on people from seven Muslim-majority countries entering the US

I appreciate your comments and insight. Seems like you made two overarching points. While his words and policies may seem threatening to legal Mexican immigrants and Muslims, it's worth noting he has a lot of support from both of those groups, more than people realized before the election. Legal Mexican immigrants don't like seeing people skip the line, especially criminals with ties to the drug cartels who would not be legally accepted and will bring their problems. Same for Muslims who have adapted to our American way of life. They know the problems of their home countries and don't want them brought here. This notion that all Mexicans need to think 1 way, all Muslims think 1 way, all blacks think 1 way, all women think 1 way, etc. is identity politics. It's a way of putting different groups into voting blocks and maintaining control. It's also why so much division has come under Democrat "leadership" recently.

As for Trump supporters on Reddit thinking black people should be miserable or what have you, I completely disagree. I have been an active member of The_Donald which is the largest Trump subreddit on here for 2 years. Whenever the black community comes up in discussion it's about lifting them up through job creation for their communities which will bring about greater inclusion, not continued division. Also about how Obama utterly failed the black community. Look at Chicago, look at Flint. Democrat policies will never build up black communities because everyone is a "victim" according to the Democrats. They try to sell "the easy way out" which never works. Trump is just the opposite, everyone is a winner and everyone should have opportunity. Hard work and love for country.
