Donald Trump's U.K. State Visit Faces 'Maximum Disruption,' Protesters Vow to Make Trip 'as Unpleasant as Possible'

Yet you ignore all the good the British empire accomplished. How many first world countries did it help create? The USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and how many countries did it help elevate into the modern world? It may have done some bad but it also did a hole lot of bloody good. Also don’t forget that at the start of WW2 Germany, rather hitler attempted to make a peace deal with England to keep them out of the war and out of pure respect for our allies and betterment of the world we declined to side with hitler, despite knowing we’d have to go back to another war we didn’t want to fight.

No one is perfect, but the modern world wouldn’t exist like it does now without the British empire, it has left the single biggest impact on the world than any other country.
