Drag Race & Racism?

First of all, I'm comparing that excuse you have to that excuse that white people love to use. Most the white fans don't realize that Latrice is literally the Drag Race equivalent of a mammy. She's large, sassy yet sweet, non threatening, de-sexualized, and used as a prime example of a black person who would "undermine" a POC's argument. Second off, racist tropes like production pressuring black queens to play into black stereotypes to succeed in the show. Chi Chi was a prime am example of someone who wanted to steer away from playing a stereotype of black Southern people and faced criticism for it. Also, the show's horrible handling of Latinx queens prior to this season. They know no real way to approach queens who don't excel in the English language (most likely due to a largely white production team) and while some queens in the show have chosen to take that stereotypes onto themselves (namely Cucu), there's still a valid conversation as to why stereotypes are even rewarded in the first place. I don't know, these are just the opinions of a person of color who notices this bullshit.
