I don't know what server you are playing on, but I haven't had any problems with watching cutscenes or waiting people that do it outside of castrum/praetorium which will 99% of the time end up as rush fest regardless.

Almost always when I asked for important things to know our tank would generally tell if there's instant kill stuff or drop markers on important targets in dungeons and trials.

If you get random FC invites, they are a) trash bloating their numbers b) a community that tries to help new players, they require zero commitment either ways and can either be ignored or used for exp buffs and maybe easier grouping.

I do have had some unlucky encounters with people, but most of the time it's just due them playing on different language and not understanding or just being generally clueless. Like people having really old gear on making them a deadweight in dungeon (not like 2-4 levels, more like 10+). Out of all the time I've played I only met one guy who told others they suck at the end of dungeon.
