It eats away at me when people think I can't be bi and Christian.

The cognitive dissonance in play needs to be questioned. The religion doesn't like us. The scripture really doesn't like us.

And although I disagree with the whole "jesus fulfilled the law so the old testament isn't relevant" I won't even go to leviticus. Because paul hates us too. Just read through chapter one of Romans. Or how about 1 corinthians chapter 6?

But you know what? You can "interpret" the bible to mean anything you damn well please. So let's ditch the scripture, because a sizeable amount of christians dislike us. All those articles of gay people being disowned by their family and friends, for religious reasons. So many of them hate us. Compare people like you and I to pedophiles. Call us deviants. Cause us to have high rates of depression and suicide in our community. Call us confused, mentally ill, or just plain sick.

I don't doubt that you can be gay and christian. But christianity isn't in support of you and i. The christians you find that are supporting are better than their religion is.
