Even above average women can get insecure in a dating situation.

> Then I got in my head. He is a physician, I am a teacher. I started to feel insecure about my lack of financial success. He used to do sex therapy with patients,...

Ummm... Medical student here. This man just admitted to a crime. This is medical malpractice. Physicians are never permitted to have any form of sexual conduct with their patients let alone go on dates with them. What specialty is he? Psych? Ob/Gyn? Did he go to actual allopathic MD school in America? He could be calling himself a doctor as is the trend with many new age bullshit trends where he got an online degree in some oddball subject. If he actually became a physician meaning he got his MD or DO degree, then he will eventually be convicted of a crime if and when one of his former patients realizes it was abuse of the physician-patient relationship.

Aside from all that this is still a huge red flag. I'm saying that as a man. This fits the profile of someone who strikes me as manipulative, slightly sociopathic, and simply putting up several facades. A facade of being a composed professional, a facade of being a rich empathic doctor, and a facade of someone being some sexually progressive man who is simply chasing after as many bodies as he can get. The fact that you already have self doubt means you've already been fooled by this dude. Good luck.
